Wow, okay, so it has been just short of a year that I have blogged!! I really thought I would be better at keeping up on this!

A lot, and I mean A LOT has happened since last December!!

Here we go....

Jase quit work in North Dakota in March so that he could be home with Kolter and I.. We LOVE having him home every night, especially Kolter!! There is always a special bond that a father and son have, and need!  Jase worked for his dad while we continued to search for another Lineman job, and he came upon a job in Weiser, ID.  He had an interview and started work just a couple weeks later!  And since we were still living in Emmett and he was traveling back and forth every day to work we couldn't afford to stay in our "home", so we packed up and stayed with his parents for a few weeks until we found a place here in Weiser.

 We were and are so thankful that we had a place to live while we were trying to transition to a new place!! 

As of April 1st, 2013 we have lived in Weiser!  Other than being away from family and friends (which we were used to seeing on almost a daily basis) we absolutely love it!!

With Jase being home now, he has been able to witness for himself, Kolter reaching all his milestones!  Those are things, as parents, that you don't ever want to miss out on! Kolter is now a year old and has grown so much!  He is such a wonderful addition to our family and has made us more patient and loving.  We couldn't imagine life without him! In his first year of life, not only has Kolter met all the normal milestones, but he goes far beyond anything I could of expected!  He loves to share!!  Not just toys, but his bottle and food as well!  He has grown to become such a social bug and love love loves his grandparents and uncles!  He loves to talk on the phone and FaceTime (:  He is an absolute outdoors boy!  When we take him out to play, no matter for how long, he always is upset when its time to come in!  He loves to read books and play with bouncy balls of all shapes and sizes!  His first word besides da-da was Tess!  If you don't know who Tess is, its Jase's black lab!  Needless to say, Kolter also LOVES animals!! He is such a joy to have!

On July 3rd, we found out that Kolter is going to be a big brother!  We couldn't be more ecstatic, and I know that Kolter is going to be the best big brother ever!  He loves being around, and playing with other children and babies!! It warms my heart to know that he is so friendly and loving!

I know that doesn't sound like a lot of things to happen in a year, but when you are in our place and you look back at the time that has gone by and everything that has happened, it really is a lot, trust me (:

To finish up, Jase loves his job, and it is So nice to have him home every night!  Kolter is growing like a weed, and every day brings a new adventure!  I love staying home with my sweet sweet boy, and can't wait for our newest addition to join us in February 2014 (:
